Cambridge College International   Ranking

Cambridge College has been welcoming students in Sydney from 1934. Over this time the college has developed into a well-established business and technology centre.

Cambridge provides training to both International (under CRICOS) and Australian students in English, Business,Aged Care and Financial Services courses. The college has an enviable reputation for its emphasis on quality teaching.

Full time and part time courses are available from certificate to advanced diploma level at very competitive prices. These courses allow for exemptions and fast tracking with university articulations available.

Cambridge College International is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), registered by the Vocational Education and Training Advisory Board (VETAB) under the Australian Qualifications and training framework (AQTF) to provide nationally accredited training in internationally recognised courses.

The Central Queensland University (CQU) has an articulation agreement in a selected programs with the College. This means a Cambridge student, who wishes to enroll at CQU, can save considerable amounts of time and money.

At Cambridge College International courses are designed to provide intensive training for career success in a professional learning environment that is both challenging and motivating with the goal of employment and/or further study. The Diploma and Advanced Diploma provide an alternative pathway to university entrance. The course is available to Australian students full time or part time and to international students full time on a student visa. The College also caters for those on a visitors visa or working holiday visa who wish to complete specific units of competence.

Cambridge College International is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). It is accredited through the NSW Government Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) to issue qualifications. The qualifications are recognised nationally in post-compulsory education and training within Australia under the Australian Government´s Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF).

VETAB Mission Statement:

 

VETAB’s mission is to foster vocational education and training of the highest possible quality and with the widest possible community access, through a firm commitment to excellence, integrity and partnership. VETAB is committed to providing the highest quality services to all our customers.

 

VETAB’s main functions are:

  • to register training organisations;
  • to accredit vocational courses;
  • to approve persons to provide courses for overseas students;
  • to advise the Minister, liaise with authorities (both in NSW and elsewhere) and investigate and report on matters relating to these registration, accreditation and approval functions.

These are outlined in the Vocational Education and Training Act 2005 (the VET Act). The Act replaced the Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Act 1990 on 26 April 2006. These functions are supported by staff within the Quality Assurance Services Directorate of the NSW Department of Education and Training.

Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF)
The Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) is the national set of standards which assures nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services for the clients of Australia’s vocational education and training system. The revised version of the AQTF is effective from 1 July 2010.
